Tamim Abdullah

Training Development Officer

Tamim Abdullah is the Training Development Officer at ANGO. Based in western Herat province of the country, Tamim also Leads ANGO’s west zone Volunteer Network. Tamim’s vast multi-disciplinary experience and expertise makes him an essential team member of the organization.

He has been with us on on-and-off basis for five years and has the experience of travelling all over the country to train young Afghans. He has also developed several training manuals and curriculums from scratch for ANGO. From Filmmaking to Lecturing in university, from specializing in SEO to content development, Tamim has had it all. His documentary films have been screened in international festivals including as IDFA in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and London Open City Film Festival. Tamim has been a recipient of Kennedy-Lugar Youth, Exchange & Study (YES) scholarship. Tamim holds an undergraduate degree in Sharia Law from Jami University.
